im gonna fetch all nasa's data mwahaha... Thats basically what it is lol. So im building a thing where from nasa api key it can get information and when people select a date it can show info from that date. And I spent 2 hours figuring out how to use the guide and then 1 hour on the actual coding.

Ship #2

I developed the NASA Astronomy Explorer app which allows browsing NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day photos, searching them based on date, viewing them randomly, and launching rocket animations using human-made rather than AI-generated designs. It was hard to come up with a truly rough and raw design using simple fonts, thick borders, and unusual color combinations. I am really happy that I managed to make a generic glassmorphism app more unique with personality and with cool rocket animation and smooth fallback when NASA API is not available yet. Just click on "LATEST" to get today's photo, on "RANDOM 🎲" to browse NASA's history since 1995, select your own dates from the calendar, and press LAUNCH 🚀 to watch the rocket go up—even on mobile!

Ship #1

NASA Astronomy Explorer is my name for my vanilla JavaScript app that utilizes NASA APOD API to render daily images from space in a customized glassmorphism design.
The hardest part about making this project was dealing with errors in case there were no pictures for the day, which I managed to resolve through an asynchronous fallback mechanism.
What makes me very proud is that I did all the coding myself for the rocket launch animation and the "Random" logic that works its way through almost 30 years of astronomical history.
For testing purposes, click on the "RANDOM" button to request live scientific data or use the "LAUNCH" button to make your own rocket fly across the screen.

I am working on connecting the nasa api key to website and using the give your own website a pulse guide and instructions from ai on what to put in the terminal I created my file and coded a basic version by myself and added a random button and date part. But it looks kinda boring so idk im gonna try to add more.
