Soldering for the main functionality is done!

This isn’t as janky as it looks. I made: a 5x5 switch matrix, a power system & amplifier setup.
Will start on the code now, wish me luck lol.

extra explanation:
the switch matrix is inputted as 5 rows and 5 columns, i ran out of enameled wire so I had to use regular wires which made it a bit bulky. The matrix itself is made with chained zener diodes, those diodes prevent something called Ghosting where if you press a combination of buttons, sometimes hte circuit detects un-pressed buttons; diodes eliminate that.

I covered the important soldering points with hot glue: 1- to strengthen the enameled wire (so they dont rip when tugged), 2- to stop shorting the wires

I cleaned every crevice with surface cleaner spray, paper towels & q-tip to remove excess flux so my glue would stick.

note: the green led, pot. and button are temporary for testing code

With the temporary parts (pot., led & black switch) i plan to make a system that changes through a list of premade synths on every switch press
i plan to make Square, Triangle, Sine and 808 waves for this prototype version.
There are supposed to be 10 knobs but i need to get a multiplexer for that (not enough IO, will do tmr)
usually the knobs do A-D-S-R-Filter1-Filter2-Resonance-Cutoff1-Cutoff2-Volume (specifics dont rly matter here, they change the sound profile of the output)
but for now i wanted to tesst Resonance with that single knob since it’s the most complex one and i just want to get it out of the way in code.
The led is supposed to light up on sound output; it’s there for troubleshooting mainly.

Hope my coding sesh goes well lol
