Actual Progress report
I’ve been slowly completing the Hackpad guide over the last week or so and have pretty much gotten to adding a USB cutout.
The first part about designing a PCB felt fairly easy although i don’t really know what does what i was mostly following the guide to follow it.
I’m planning on learning some more about PCB’s when I’ll be designing a custom Hackpad.
I find fusion hard to learn.
Took me quite a long time to figure out how to make holes with the right spacing to each corner as well as even just making two rectangles
(I could use tinkercad since i already know it but i would rather learn a new program)

Rant about macropad
When I’m done with the guide i plan on actually designing a macropad instead of just following a guide.
So far i want it to have 2 keys that feel comfy for my middle and index finger for OSU and i was thinking about 4 or so more keys for random macros/modded minecraft.
I gave the look a quick thought and i was thinking maybe a stardrop from stardew valley could be cool since i also like that game but i don’t know how the key layout would work with wanting 2 keys that fit my middle and index finger really well since its kindof a star shaped object. Added a VERY quick drawing of my first stardrop idea. The grey would be buttons.
I could try to make a more “artistic” or “droopy” version of a stardrop in order to better the layout.
I definitely want it to look like something i like instead of it just being a square boring box.
Ooh also I definitely used more than 3h i just forgot to turn the timelapse on while struggling with fusion.
