Its basically a cool AI ,which gives the best explanation to the question asked by the user about the universe .For this I have used Gemini's API key. Also I have used NASA's open API key to get the 'Picture of today' that is photo of space / something related to space by NASA . The AI also explains the picture of the day , for the better understanding of the user
HII . This is my first devlog :). So recently I built AstroMind AI which is an AI-powered space assistant using Python and Streamlit.The app lets users ask astronomy-related questions and receive beginner-friendly explanations powered by the Gemini API. I also integrated NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) API, so users can view the latest space image along with its official explanation.This was my first time working with Streamlit, so I learned a lot while building the project.Overall, this project taught me how to integrate multiple APIs into one application, deploy a Python web app, and improve my debugging skills.
