So this is for a course I'm doing independently by MITOpenCourseWare, and the project summary basically says: "The goal of this project to produce a robot capable of searching for hidden metal disks (“mines”) in a open space. Students design and implement a search algorithm that lets the robot hunt autonomously, and when a mine is found to pause on top of it."

I wired my Arduino Uno and L298N Motor driver (yes I know its bad but I already bought it) to some DC motors I bought. I also coded (using the Arduino IDE) some commands for the motors but (for some unknown reason) the code took forever to upload (10 min before I aborted it) and I assume that it was broken somehow so I’ll need to buy a new Arduino Uno :(
