DIY Steam Machine
Finished general layout and stuff. I think my Steam machine clone is coming along pretty well. The overall layout has been finished on it. I’ve also added the magnets stuff for the front panel which will be removable and customizable. Currently I’m figuring out how I’m going to add the front RGB strip and usb ports and stuff. Overall it’s coming along nicely.
Added lid and stuff. I’m going to test the airflow of it later using some sort of software. I added a lid, and also finished up the overall footprint of it.
Added PCIe bracket mounting stuff partially and a spot for an 80mm fan in the back. I think it currently looks pretty good. It’ll be buildable on like a 220mm buildplate so anyone with like an ender 3 will be able to make it. The airflow will also be pretty good. There are fresh air vents in the front which will have air drawn into the middle of the case to components then the hot air will be exhausted out the back by the fan.
Added a Front Panel to it. I also am working on GPU positioning for maximum cooling and airflow.
Finished adding new stuff. The front will have a similar gap between a removable front panel like the og to allow some sort of fan in front. I had to compromise on PSU positioning to make it fit in the form factor. Overall happy with progress so far.
So I have started designing an easy to build steam machine pc case clone. Currently working on figuring out how I will implement mood lighting into the chassis of it. I think I will figure out multiple options where things like temperature or time of day can change it.
