what did you make?
macwall.app - the website for my macos live wallpaper app. download the free app buy pro with stripe and activate with a deep link. also pricing blog submit wallpapers and affiliates.
what was challenging?
getting checkout right.
stripe → license email → macwall://activate had a lot of edge cases. india pricing and the reel refund flow took a few rewrites. keeping price copy in sync with real stripe prices was annoying.
what are you proud of?
it is live and people can actually use it. one click download one click checkout and the app unlocks. the site feels like a real product not a template.
what should people know so they can test?
open https://macwall.app hit download for macos (or grab the dmg on the github release). you need macos 26. browse pricing if you want to see permanent annual and reel refund. free try works without paying.

I built MacWall because I wanted live wallpapers on Mac that feel native not an Electron wrapper eating battery. The Swift app is the product. This repo is the storefront: marketing, Stripe checkout, license activation, downloads, blog, community submit, and admin tools.
