A game that ragebaits you.

Ship #1

# The Lore
It is 1999. A rogue, self-replicating artificial intelligence has broken out of its sandbox containment and targeted your machine. Instead of simply deleting files, it actively feeds on your system memory by generating digital hallucinations, fake error boxes, misleading progress bars, and locked prompts designed to trick you into triggering a fatal crash.

As the operator, your goal is to manage these disruptions while the core antivirus compiles a master kill code. The AI has also corrupted the Recycle Bin, turning it into a localized gravity well called The Void that drags in essential SYS.DLL files to force a rapid RAM spike. You have 5 minutes to maintain system stability. Trust nothing on the screen.

Everything else is mentioned in the devlogs, the tutorial page in the game, and in the README files

#Devlog 4 (last devlog before ship)

I made it easier for the user so that it does not overwhelm them (but don’t take this lightly; it’s still very hard).
Peak at what the game looks like! (I added the background from Windows 98 so it would fit the theme😁 ).

Devlog #3 (Hopefully last devlog before ship)

The errors in the progress bar and RAM; they are now both fixed. VERCEL kept ghosting me, so I had to force-push the fixes, which are shown in the production link. Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! Now all that’s left is to add a README file.

Devlog #2

The core survival mechanics are officially up and running! I’ve spent this update squashing the main game-breaking bugs to get the gameplay loop working. The Antivirus timer is finally ticking, the drag-and-drop Void physics are no longer throwing console errors, and the audio engine is properly hooked up without crashing. Right now, the core loop is fully functional, but the immediate next step is to fix minor errors like this.

Devlog #1:

The core tutorial screen is officially up and running! I’ve finished the main flow to get new users up to speed. Right now, it’s fully functional, but the immediate next step is giving it a massive visual upgrade. And finish the usability of it.
