Devlog 1 – Starting the Sedan Model. I started modeling a sedan in Blender. To ensure the proportions were accurate, I used a sedan blueprint that I found online as a reference. Using a blueprint made it easier to plan the placement of the model’s features before beginning the actual shaping process.
My focus for this session was laying out the vertices for the major parts of the car, including the body lines, windows, headlights, grille, wheel arches, and other key features. At this stage, I wasn’t trying to make the mesh look like a car, instead, I was creating a clean and organized foundation for the model.
This preparation will make the next stages much smoother by providing better topology and making it easier to maintain symmetry while shaping the body.
