Sadly, I can’t really log EasyEda hours, and my progress will go untracked.
I’ve finished the PCB and set it over to JLCPCB for review!
Next step: 3d printed case!!

Finally back home!!! Back on the project, today I started with PCB design on EasyEDA.
I have ordered electrical parts, and turns out they wont work, because there’s only 4 IO ports on the CYD!
Came up with a workaround:
instead of an INA228 module with an external shunt, I got a set of resistors and a stabilistor to measure battery voltage, which u can see in IGNITION & BATT METER

A broken display somehow turned into a complete e-bike remodel.

About a month ago, I thought I’d just replace the broken display and forget about it. The bike also needed constant minor fixes, and at some point it just stopped being a repair job.

I decided to redesign the whole system in a way that actually makes sense to me, starting with custom electronics and a custom case.
