Today I mostly worked on polishing things up and fixing bugs to get everything ready for Ship. I’ll definitely keep improving it after Ship, but right now I really want to work on some other projects (and I want those free stickers you get for shipping before the weekend ends 😄).

Today I made it so you start in a terminal and need to type a command to enter the GUI. I also added a few extra commands there and updated the UI theme, I like it more now. Next, I’m planning to add a proper terminal app inside the GUI so you can run commands while using the desktop. I also want to add window resizing, and maybe even a settings app later on.

Today I made some apps and added movable windows to the OS. I removed the profile picture for now, but I think I’m going to add it back tomorrow. Tomorrow I also want to add a taskbar with app icons, improve the calculator by adding actual buttons, add more information about myself, and create a browser app that lets you explore my projects. It’s still very early, but it’s starting to come together!

Hey everyone!I just made the first few parts of my browser-based operating system where you can learn more about me and my projects. It’s nothing special yet (although the clock updates live 😄), but I’m signing off for the day so I thought I’d share what I have so far.You might also notice there’s a lot of grass. I kind of love grass. I’m not sure yet if I’ll keep that theme forever, but it might be a good way to finally get other programmers to touch some grass. 😉
