Initializing Aura OS
Every star ship needs a central nervous system, and today, I’m laying the foundation for mine. I’m incredibly excited to announce the start of my new project: Aura OS a resilient, AI-driven Operating System engineered for next-generation spacecraft, built entirely in the browser. I am currently in the very early starting phase. I’ve just wired up the root architecture and pushed my first major commits. The repository is synced, the Vite build pipeline is configured. What is the vision for Aura OS? I’m not just building a static dashboard; I’m engineering a deterministic, highly fault-tolerant interface. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be building out: A Local Heuristic AI: An offline cognitive engine that can execute commands and parse logic without relying on high-latency external API calls. A Stateful Virtual File System (VFS): True persistent storage right in the browser, allowing for complex file management. A Custom Window Manager: A full desktop environment featuring glass morphic layering, edge-boundary protection, and dynamic Z-indexing. Hardware-Accelerated Telemetry: Canvas-driven radar sweeps and physics-based navigation loops running on optimized rendering cycles. The engine room is just getting warmed up, and the codebase is officially locked and loaded. Follow along as I build the future of autonomous spaceflight!
