Robot Tortoise

For this project, I am designing and building a robotic tortoise using FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics components. The robot is inspired by the movement and appearance of a real tortoise while incorporating engineering, programming, and mechanical design principles. Using FTC motors, servos, structural parts, and a control system, I am creating a walking robot capable of moving across different surfaces. This project allows me to explore robotics, biomechanics, CAD design, and programming while developing problem-solving and engineering skills. The goal is to create a functional robotic animal that demonstrates how technology can replicate movements found in nature.
