I built a smart caching library, to use in a larger product I’m developing. Building it was very challenging since I had never really dealt with building cache mechanisms before, and I invested a lot of hours studying beyond just writing code. I think I’m proud that I ended up building it myself instead of using an existing solution just because I was unsure if I could pull it off.

Hi! I finished my smart-cache library. I spent the last hour mostly thoroughly reviewing my code and refining small details ahead of a version update on GitHub. The project is officially finalized and ready to ship.

I completed the tests, tested edge cases, and pushed everything to GitHub, so I guess it’s time to ship the project. I’ll check my code one last time and will ship.

I’m working on smart cache library, here my first devlog! I built this library to give myself and other fans of the genre an option to get a smart cache without having to build it themselves.
