I finished my personal website by making it responsive and enhancing the design.

The most challenging part was the CSS. I had this problem when the page starts scrolling horizontally as I shrink it. I tried everything (except AI): deleted different code blocks, rewrote different properties. Eventually, I found it: a simple align-items: center. Bruh…. Then everuthing worked fine, but I still wrote overflow-x:hidden just in case…

I’m really proud of the end result - clean, modern, adaptive, funny, and personal.

Test it by trying it on different devices and finding some quirky layouts on some device sizes (which shouldn’t exist hopefully).

I created a simple personal portfolio website using HTML, CSS, and some JS.

The most challenging part was creating a custom grid in hobbies & interests section - 2 columns, 2 blocks in one row and another block takes two rows. At first, I looked at documentation, but didn’t find what i needed. There are so many grid properties! Eventually, I asked DeepSeek to show me an example of how to make it and adapted it to my project.

I’m really proud of what I made. I think it’s very creative, especially the last section. I’m pretty sure whoever opens it will LOL! That’s exactly what my goal was - to tell about myself in a funny way.

One thing I still need to work on is responsiveness, but the rest of the features are working and u can test them.

I built Lexicon AI, a free AI-powered vocabulary journal for IELTS and IELTS students. Instead of manually writing definitions, synonyms, and example sentences, users can generate them with AI by extracting words from documents and studying with flashcards and games.

The hardest part was making the AI reliable. I ran into almost every Gemini API error imaginable (429, 503, 400, 404…). To solve this, I built automatic API key rotation and model fallback, so the app tries multiple API keys and multiple Gemini models before giving up.

I’m proud that I built the entire product from scratch with very little prior experience and that nearly 30 people are already using it.

When testing, please try the AI features, like document upload, context passage, and Lexy assistant. I’d also appreciate if you try to break the app - whether that’s finding security issues, unexpected bugs, or edge cases. If you find anything, please report it using the airtable feedback form.
