Tested new stage design, glued pins into compartments, sanded inside of tube
I thoroughly sanded the inside of my stage housing to create a free fit between the stage and the stage housing. I also tested the double lead screw bearing Z-Stage movement mechanism, glued the bearings into the housing, and glued the lead screws into the bearings. Finally I tested inserting and taking out a slide into the stage.
