I made HackOS, a browser-based desktop simulator that feels like a mini operating system. It has draggable apps, widgets, camera/voice tools, local notes/files, and a detective-style puzzle case.
The hardest part was making the UI feel clean and responsive while still having many apps, animations, drag/drop behavior, and saved local data.
I’m proud that it feels interactive, not just like a static website. The apps actually do things, and the case uses multiple tools inside the OS.
