I made a basic slack bot with time, dice roll, 8ball and joke fetching via api functionality. it was my first time coding in js and dealing with bot hosting in general. my friend had a vps lying around so i decided to use that instead of nest, which proved to be a little difficult setting up the services and all, but i pulled through and i learned a lot along the way.

This is a pretty short project so i decided to only post one devlog. I was completely new to bot hosting and nodejs so i took the time to learn and experiment before I finished this bot. its just a basic bot with api calling functionality for jokes.

Of course it had to happen. i got the spacing for the keys all wrong so i went back and wired it all together, then did a BUNCH more 3d modelling which took forever cause this is my first time.
