I have officially converted from main.js to main.ts, meaning everything is in TypeScript. Now to make everything modular…🤞

Currently trying to convert from Vanilla JS to TypeScript and eventually a framework like React. Fingers crossed! 🤞

This is meant to be a website template for South Pike Cinemas, a local and family-owned theater half an hour from me. I noticed that their current website had some issues, so to help solve that, I decided to make my own. Once I'm done, I plan to show this to them and earn some money. I'm using this opportunity to learn freelancing and how to use my skills to solve real-world problems. (be aware for some bugs and issues, feel free to tell)

This isn’t really a devlog, but rather a heads up about something: Hackatime and Stardance are saying that I’ve worked on this for a few hours. That’s incorrect. I’ve been working on this project since December and January. I’ve used AI to help me with some of the project, but this is in no way a “vibe coded” app. I’ve included a screenshot of my oldest Git commit history for the project to set the record straight. Thanks for the feedback, and I will continue working on improving this web app!

Currently working on leveling up the mini analytics (the cards you see under the “Good morning” message) to display useful information. Stay tuned!

This is my task and project management web app called Dewen, which is meant to be completely subscription-free, AI-optional, and local-first while delivering useful productivity tools. What was definitely challenging was the search and command bar, where I had to rely on AI tools to help me build it. What I'm proud of is how the tools sync with each other. When you add a task, it renders on the calendar, and when you start a focus session, the activity panel logs the action. Finally, users should know that it takes barely any steps to get started, since there are no accounts.
