What did you make?

I made my own personal website to showcase who I am, what I’m learning, my skills, and the projects I’ve worked on. I wanted it to feel simple, clean, and actually represent me instead of looking like a generic template.

What challenge did you face?

The biggest challenge was getting everything to look right and work properly across different screen sizes. I also had to fix a lot of small bugs and design issues along the way. Sometimes a tiny change would break something else 😭, so I spent quite a bit of time debugging and polishing the site.

What are you proud of?

I’m proud that I built the site myself and actually finished it. I’m especially happy with how the final design came together after all the small improvements. More than anything, I’m proud that this is something I can now call my own personal space on the web.

What do you want others to check in your project?

I’d love people to check out the overall design and the different sections of the website, especially the projects and the way everything is organized. I’d also love them to try it on both desktop and mobile and see how it feels.

And most importantly, I hope people can get a small idea of who I am just by exploring the site. 🚀

TanOS gets a desktop
I started turning my welcome screen into an actual web OS. I added the desktop environment, a top bar, online status and a live clock. I also spent some time changing the visual style instead of following the tutorial exactly. The starry background was something I added because the original dark background felt too empty.
Next, I’m going to work on the window system so applications can actually open, close and move around the desktop.

I’m building my personal portfolio website. I wanted to make a website where I can introduce myself, show my skills and projects, and share a little about my journey as a developer.I’m building it using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I’m also deploying it with GitHub Pages so that the website is publicly accessible. The main goal is to have a simple personal website that I can keep improving as I learn more and build more projects.
