In fearful day, in raging night,
With strong hearts full, our souls ignite.
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
Look to the stars—
For hope burns bright!

Forgetful and tired

Update 2# on cool project

What’s up guys! First of all, it is important to say that the previous few days were spent working on The Agora. Thus, I have fixed several bugs, added new historical characters, and developed some more features which should make the website more interactive. To do so, I had to be patient, solve various problems, and test extensively because some features didn’t work the way I expected.

However, I am happy that I could expand the selection of historical characters and improve interaction with them. As it is seen, it became possible to move beyond the idea of making a website that would generate artificial intelligence responses. It would be great if The Agora could turn into a place where users could try out different viewpoints and philosophies of famous historical figures and learn a lot from it. As has already been said, there are some imperfections that should be improved, but I am satisfied with the progress made.

More updates coming soon!
Maybe more characters…
Thanks for reading! :)

Update 1# of my cool project
Hey guys! I created The Agora website where people can engage in interactive discussions with simulated artificial intelligence characters based on historical figures like Socrates. The idea was to provide another medium where users can learn something about the past or philosophy by engaging in discussion and questioning. Creating this website proved to be harder than I initially thought it would be. Coding itself, coming up with distinct personalities for each character and ensuring that their responses match their respective worldview and reasoning style, took a lot of time and effort. There is room for improvement in coding, but at the same time, there are flaws and imperfections in the current code that need to be addressed. I will work on improving all of that. I also did not record the other three hours I spent working on this project, meaning that my hours are incomplete. This project was a very good learning experience for me in terms of programming skills and problem-solving. I’ve worked about 9 hrs, though I forgot to log the 3 hrs, which is a bummer :( But I’m glad I could create and share something with y’all!

I’ll give you guys updates on when it’s ready and other things that may come up during my coding journey!
Thanks for reading :)
