I built Ronaldo OS, a football-themed WebOS inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo. It runs directly in the browser and includes draggable windows, a live clock, a CR7 Journal, and an interactive CR7 career timeline.

The biggest challenge was turning the separate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript pieces into one working desktop experience and getting everything deployed through GitHub Pages. I’m most proud of creating something that feels like an actual themed operating system rather than just a normal webpage.

People testing it should try opening the CR7 Journal and CR7 Timeline, dragging the windows around, and interacting with the different applications.

I finished the main development of Ronaldo OS and moved the project from Codespaces to a live GitHub Pages deployment. I completed the HTML structure, JavaScript interactions, and CSS styling, and connected the different parts of the WebOS together.
The OS now has a Ronaldo-themed desktop, live clock, draggable windows, CR7 Journal, and an interactive CR7 career timeline. I also added my own football-themed design and background instead of simply following the guide’s example.
The biggest milestone was finally deploying Ronaldo OS successfully to GitHub Pages and testing the live version in the browser. The project is now functional and publicly accessible.

I’ve moved from the basic HTML structure into making Ronaldo OS actually interactive.
I finished the main JavaScript logic for the project, which is a big step from the static structure I had in my first devlog. The OS now has the foundation needed for its windows and applications to respond to user interactions.
I also continued building the CR7 Journal and CR7 Timeline so they can function as actual applications inside the WebOS rather than just being placeholders.
The next stage is to polish the interface, improve the individual applications, and make the whole experience feel more like a real football-themed operating system.

I started building my own WebOS for the Hack Club WebOS Jam.
I wanted to make something different from a generic desktop, so I decided to build the entire OS around football and create a Ronaldo-themed experience.
I started by creating the basic desktop structure, including the top bar, football mode indicator, clock, desktop icons, and my first welcome window.
I also added the first two applications I want to build: CR7 Journal and CR7 Timeline.
I’m now working on turning these basic elements into a fully interactive WebOS with draggable windows and football-themed applications.
