I built a custom Linux operating system from scratch for a Raspberry Pi 5, using a tool called Yocto, and got it running on real hardware. I did this on my Windows laptop using WSL2 (a way to run Linux inside Windows).

A handheld soil moisture meter that tells you whether your lawn actually needs water, built for people in one of Utah's driest years on record. My plan is to make 10 of these and hand them out to my family/friends to use in Utah.

DumE is a voice controlled autonomous mobile manipulator: a 6 DOF arm on a holonomic (mecanum) drive base, with stereo vision, natural language control, and a personality system. The chassis and arm are designed and built from individually sourced components.
