LED display using Sparkle Motion and a 16x16 NeoPixel matrix. Use WLED software to play awesome animations that are designed for 2D matrices. A 3D printed frame and piece of black LED acrylic create an assembled display that can sit upright or mounted to a wall.
Mimo is a small interactive desktop robot designed to be a fun, customizable, and smart companion. It is powered by an ESP32-S3 and features an OLED display for animations and expressions, touch input for interaction, physical buttons, and a speaker with an amplifier for sounds and feedback. The robot is powered by a rechargeable battery, making it portable and suitable for use anywhere on a desk. The project combines electronics, PCB design, embedded programming, and 3D design into one compact device. Mimo is designed to have a friendly personality through animations, sounds, and user interactions, with the possibility of adding more features and behaviors in the future. The goal is to create a unique little desktop companion that is not only functional but also fun to build, customize, and use.
So I got sick of using a full-size keyboard for only a few keys when playing games and just decided to make something that will do what I need. GlitchPad is a small macropad I am designing myself. It contains arrow keys, a space key, a Shift key, and a Rotatory Encoder — that is pretty much all that I need to game. GlitchPad will be simple, yet it will be very comfortable to use. The best part about this project is that I will make everything by myself, including the circuitry, the housing, and the programming of this device. What else can I say? I just need it to look great — so I will definitely try to create something that looks sick.
