Weighing Scale from scratch day-2:
Today we, planned to collect data on how the resistance and height of nichrome wire is affected by masses of different kg, today we used 28 gauge wire but the data was soo rubbish without any correlation, gonna try again with different gauge wire.
And if you guys have better method on measuring length and resistance beside meter rule and multimeter, do let me know along with any feedback :)
We messed around with Nichrome wire and thought of a design for a prototype(photo of prototype is added) and we plan to take weight slot from physics lab tomorrow and carry experiments to see how much the wire deforms under how much force and how does resistance change with Ohm meter.
I want to measure everything and do everything from scratch so no outer data too.
Making projects like this seems sooo fun makes you think you are a small scientist
