Hello guys, I am finally finished with the pcb design.
Now all that is left to do is to finish the steering mechanism in the plane, adding a mount for the pcb and then assembling everything.
Sadly I wont be able to work on this project for about a month or so, since im on vacation.

Hey guys, this devlog I just fixed some problems with the 3D model of the aircraft and added a screw mount for the cockpit, so it holds onto the main body and is detachable.
I also started to do some research on electronics and pcb design for a simple main pcb in the plane.
I even started with the schematic but still have quite a lot to learn and do.

Hi guys, it has been quite some time since my last devlog in which I promised to show the plane model.
Now I am almost finished with it. Because this was my first time modeling something as complex and dynamic, it took me much time to figure things out.
I also did the first test 3D print which pointed out some important issues I will need to fix.
Heres a quick overview of how I intend the aircraft to function:
-The main body will consist of multiple parts which get put together with glue
-The wings will further be stabilised by a carbon pipe
-It will have retractable gear
-The flaps will be controlled by spinning rods connected to gears inside the main body
-Everything will be connected to a main pcb and controlled by an esp32 which receives the data via an antenna

Hello guys, this is my second devlog on my RC airplane. I’m finally finished with programming both the receiving and transmitting ESP32 boards which I use for this project.
Heres a list of all the things I did/added and fixed since the last devlog:
-I got the antennas working
-The radio connection works and transmits the data I want
-The receiving ESP32 now hands the signals down to servos
-Fixed a problem with the servo library where attaching the servos to any pin would overwrite other attached servos
-Added an easy kind of failsafe
-Built a container for the electronics that goes on the back of my controller on the transmitting end–> still working on it but almost finished
I will update you guys, when I have a decent 3D model of the plane to show.

This is my first ever devlog so don‘t expect too much. Heres what I already did:   -I set up my coding workspace -I connected the ESP32 to my controller and can read the data -I set up the Antennas and tested them Now I just need the Antennas to work together with the rest. After that I will start to design the plane in CAD. Thats it for the devlog, I‘ll post the next one, when i‘m finished with the main coding part.
