Just finished pcb! after a lot of pain and talking in the slack i managed to do it, i decided to basically copy orpheuspads pcb in the fundamentals and use the drawings too (i thought it was cool) its my first time making a pcb so i tried to just copy as closely as i could and feel like i learned a lot!

it doesn’t look like its that much because it looks like its from the 2000’s and in the era of vibe-coding anyone can whip up a 3d website in minutes, but i am really proud of it because i coded it myself! (admittedly using templates, google, and a lot of debugging pain) but i still think its a really nice one page site
I have completed the coding of the PYTHON SERVER LOOP :D using dan berard’s firmware as inspiration i have completed part of the code, all i have to do now software-wise is the teensy part which will be significantly less work as all i have to do is create a PID loop and USB serial protocol :D (still gonna be like 1500 lines but much easier for me to learn than whatever the heck i had to learn rn

v2 done! I took a photo of it in my schooll’s lightbox and the design is much better, the piece at the end is velcro for it to attach. v3 im thinking some sort of compliant gripper. this is meant to replace hooks and stuff like that after all which can go upwards of 2000$ (at a minimum) and some sort of compliant gripper would be good here. perhaps even a true hands or tri-claw. coding it now :D
v1 done and 3d printed and coded, pretty bad tbh but its just a POC
worked on code and tuning myoware values to have a working smoothing algorithm when i 3d print the prototype. also soldered the wires onto the myoware, planning on doing 3 prototypes before finalizing a design for a cheaper prosthetic. this is my first time soldering is it good lol i had to solder 2 wires onto the back bc when they were on the front it wasnt good…
