Devlog #10
Ok so I have work on more than what is showed in the video but this feature is very big so the smaller thing can be talked about in the later devlog
Restriction Enchantment Thingy Update
禁制 replaces normal enchantment levels for weapons and artifacts.
Every artifact can contain multiple Restriction Layers:
1重禁制
2重禁制
3重禁制
……
36重禁制
72重禁制
Each successfully engraved layer improves the weapon. Higher layers become progressively harder, more expensive, and more dangerous to refine.
After reaching 72重禁制, the weapon can evolve into the next level
Rules
Controls
Click a row to select its node.
Click to the left or right of the bead, or use the < and > buttons, to move it.
Use W/S or the Up/Down Arrow keys to change the selected node.
Use A/D or the Left/Right Arrow keys to move the selected bead.
Each bead has a Qi value ranging from 0 to 6. The golden diamond shows the target value.
When every node matches its target value at the same time, the formation is completed and all selected Restrictions are engraved onto the artifact.
Moving one bead may also affect linked nodes.
Nodes Types
Normal Node
A standard node that can be moved directly.
The node turns gold when its value matches its target.
Forward Golden Formation Line
Linked beads move in the same direction.
For example, moving one bead to the right also moves the connected bead to the right.
Reversed Cyan Formation Line
A cyan formation line marked with a “−” symbol.
Linked beads move in opposite directions.
For example, moving one bead to the right moves the connected bead to the left.
Locked Node
A gray node that cannot be moved directly.
The player must move connected nodes to push it into the correct position.
Locked nodes begin appearing from a total of 46 Restriction layers.
Unstable Node
A pulsating red-jade bead.
It moves automatically after its displayed action interval and may also affect linked nodes.
Unstable nodes begin appearing from Restriction layer 55.
Hidden Node
Its target value is displayed as “?”
The player must determine the correct target by observing the formation’s behavior or by using a hint.
Hidden targets and move limits begin appearing from Restriction layer 73.
