added animations for window maximizing
added a transition when changing wallpapers
added notificatios for

Notes being created
All notes getting deleted
Todo new task
Todo task deleted
Todo task completed
Todo task marked incomplete
Also tweaked the colors
Made it so the task and notes that you add stays even after you refresh the site

Big changes
changed the whole vibe from last time.
added new themes, gallery, settings, a todo app and a widget, right click menu
now the weather widget will show weather in new york instead of askng for your location to show local weather.

next ill try to add a browser

I built MentOS, a minimal, web-based operating system designed for learning and lightweight desktop productivity. Inspired by macOS aesthetics, it features a clean glassmorphic desktop interface, dynamic side widgets (a live Calendar and a Weather widget), and floating draggable windows for built-in apps like Notes and Calculator. I had challenges setting it up because i had alot of typos, Im proud of actually sitting here and commiting to the development process of it instead giving up halfway, Most of the code was written by me, after writing the core codes i had Ai to put comments and make sections so adding new things would be easier, but the codes for the weather widget was written by Ai still the design choices where mine, Again im very happy that i got to this point. There might be future updates on this project but i cant confirmt that

added calendar widget and a weather widget, i temporarly removed some of the codes of the weather widget so it wont show my location, but it does work fine. Also removed the apps from desktop to only on dock, improved the glass effect, added some very simple animations

Dev Log #1
Started building a Web OS by following the Hack Club Stardust guide. It was a fun way to learn how everything works, and I fixed a few bugs along the way. Next, I’m planning to add a working Notes app with saved notes, followed by a Calculator app. Looking forward to adding more features!
