Refining and Changing! 👌 I had to change and delete some of my code because I had asked AI to do it and so it took me some time to try to figure out how to change it without breaking the code though there wasn’t much I needed to change because most of the time I hadn’t used AI much other than to point me in the right direction(and most of time no answers, I wanted to figure it out by myself if I could) and also I had looked at some code I had done before to help me out. In the middle of all that I actually found a block of code that did nothing it was just sitting there dormant and I remembered that when I wrote it I had tried doing something new but then abandoned it and moved on to another piece of code. I didn’t delete that block of code though, I was thinking I can eventually get back to it. I tried the site again and I was so relieved to see that it still worked perfectly and nothing had broken😮‍💨. Finally I was thinking if this devlog needed a picture but I don’t know what to put this time so I’m just going to put a picture of the working website again😅.

Progress, Polishing, and a Sudden Deployment Scare!
Hey everyone! Since I wasn’t able to write much in my last devlog—because I was low on time and only posted a few sentences as a summary—I’ve decided to write more this time.
I’ve been chipping away at the Fortfact app and just pushed some fun updates. I’ve expanded the pool of content with a handful of brand-new facts and fortunes for you to discover, and I also refreshed the text in the welcome box to make it a bit more inviting. I also gave the UI a little makeover—I shrunk the welcome window’s overall size so it feels less intrusive, and tucked it neatly into the bottom-right corner of the screen and changed the text inside it.
Behind the scenes, I also took some time to dive into the codebase and refine a few areas that felt a bit rushed and messy during the initial build.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing, though. I ran into a massive roadblock trying to deploy to GitHub Pages. For a moment, everything broke and it gave me quite a shock! It took a solid chunk of troubleshooting time, but I managed to untangle the issue and get everything live.

I added a new app that gives you a fortune or fact and i refined the code in places.

ok, so i ran into a few bugs when i was doing this and it took me a surprising amount of time to fix it but finally I fixed it! yay for me! anyway, after that i put in a few more additions to my notes app, like putting in buttons to open a brand new note or delete one or to save your current note.

I’ve created the first app!!! and I’ve added detail to it : letting you open it , close it, edit it, move it and resize it! I’ve put some base text into it but the user can change that text or add to it. Next I’m going to learn and develop this wonderful thing more!

I’ve been working on the welcome page .It took me some time to get it working right, and I’ve finally got it to . I’ve put an image as the background and also have done a simple message. I have just finished doing the top bar (with a clock) as well as a draggable window.
