For my school research assessment, I created website to compile my research on Spatial computing.
This was my first website and first time using Github so I learnt many new skills and encountered many challenges such as…

differentiating flexbox and grid in HTML
figuring out how to commit changes in Github
working CSS and figuring how it effects text

I only made this to present my research, which is why I decided to only use HTML and CSS for it.
I’m rather proud of my first website because of the amount of new things i’ve learnt despite the project being rather basic and small.
In my next websites, I aim to incorporate JavaScript as well and experiment with animations.

I had difficulties committing changes to github, especially the readme files.
I ended up having to refresh project files via terminal

Created the hero section of the website. I learnt and tried using the grid based layout system to organise it.

Made a banner than sits as a separator between the reference links and research. Took a bit of trial and error to get what I envisioned: still image while the scrolling reveals what the rectangle is framing.

I ended up scrapping the top navigation bar and moved it to the side. I had to do a bit of research to figure out how to get it to stick when i scroll it but i got there in the end.
