so basically i made the schematic and then i started working on the pcb editor but the wires were weird until i realised that i had the schematic order sw1, sw2, sw3, sw4, when was supposed to be sw1, sw2, sw3, sw4. And i had to rewire maybe like 5 times but at least i finished the pcb. im suprised i made it knowing i gave up on the hackpad cause i didnt understand kicad

changed the icons and took the apps off the desktop, added a sleep, shutdown, restart, lock screen, a wifi thing, a files and bin folder. Also there is a setup screen and a migration assistant but it doesnt really do anything rn ima gonna make it do something later.

i didnt really add anything but im gonna add a shutdown, sleep, restart button make the settings look better and add more stuff to it, and maybe a setup screen at the very start with a username, password, select a wifi( just like a random wifi like idk 67net-5g), a migration assisant where you can upload your saved data( on the site there will be a thing to export ur data) light or dark mode, maybe a login there where you can login with your email to also store your stuff ( prob not cause im not bothered to and i dont wanna give like 0.015 cents for r2 bucket. And thats all i can think of at the top of my head

made the grid, normal and the video one work and if you close or minimise the app app the camera actually turns off after a bit. and added the icons and removed the effects cause ill add it back later maybe

i made it so you cant drag up and down, added a photobooth, fixed a few bugs, made the dragging a bit better, made it so the fullscreen works better like so if your in fullscreen the close minimise and fullscreen menu goes away and if u put ur mouse to the top it appears again. Im gonna fix a few bugs like the photobooth is weird if you are in fullscreen and im gonna add a few more apps maybe and maybe overhaul some apps
i made a slack bot called tuffbot,it was challenging when i was trying to do index.js sometimes in the terminal but then it didnt work and i had to do .exit, i am proud that i got a few apis working, people should know they have to be in #bot-spam or #tuffbot to test my bot

so i fixed some bugs and also added a lil more commands, i requested a nest hackclub server thing so once i hopefully get accepted i will push it and i just put this screenshot cause i dont really have anything else to put

i made a new tab page called astrosearch, the thing i used to track the iss worked on localhost but when i deployed it to github pages it stopped working so i had to find a different api was challenging, im proud that it looks pretty similar to the brave new tab layout. People should know that the background takes maybe 1-3 seconds to load and that the iss location tracker takes maybe 2 seconds to load. and also if you click on the logo of the search engine you can change the search engine you use

I added a lil more features. I added a clock and a search bar, i made it look better by putting the cards at the bottom, the cards have the moon phase, astronomy news and the rocket launch. i also added a settings thing where you can turn the features i just said on or off. Lastly i added a thing to change what search engine you are using

i got the api key workijng and it fetched the thing i just finished the javascript section in the guide and im doing the css one now
i made an os called ‘TuffOS’. One of the biggest challenges was probably that the ids of my things were different, i would name a calculatorclose while my code was looking for calcclose, also as the project got bigger it become more difficult to remember where to place code.
Im proud of how it turned out overall. at first it looked pretty bad, but after a few hours it looks better and im happy with how it looks and functions now.
Testing TuffOS is pretty easy, click an app to open it. To close an app, click the red button, to minimise an app click the yellow button, and click the green button to make it fullscreen ( or kinda fullscreen)
