I centered the plate onto the macropad, FINALLY!
I centered the plate onto the macropad, FINALLY!
I was trying to center the plate onto the macropad.
Today I worked on adding the DXF switch plate into my macropad case in Fusion 360. I ran into some issues because the plate was imported from a different design tab and was linked, so I couldn’t move it at first. After troubleshooting, I figured out how to access the Move tool and started aligning the plate with the case. Next, I’ll finish centering it and check that everything lines up correctly!!!
Devlog 2: Finally closed up the bottom of my macropad case! It was hollow before, so I added a 3mm base and re-cut the four mounting holes so everything lines up correctly. I checked the measurements too, and the case is exactly 13mm tall like it should be. I also started working on the switch plate by generating a 3-key DXF with ai03’s plate generator and importing it into Fusion. I finally got everything working!
I started designing my Stardance macropad! I set up my KiCad project, imported the required libraries, and began creating the PCB layout. I worked on placing components and preparing the board design. Next, I will finish routing the PCB and begin designing the case.
