I am 13 years old who loves making 3D animation through blender for fun and I want to get a big companies attention also to show my work to them. I also try to make very usefull websites and hyper realistic drawing not digitally but on paper. I am doing this beucase first it is fun and I want to suprise my brother (who is now in college) with a 3D printer or a laptop because he is the person who got me into engineering and showed my hackclub.

What I worked on was all the UI for the funciton page of the website. It still needs lot of improvment but I am getting their and their and still many bugs that need to be fixed and the challenging part now is to actually make it overalpp your existing background so that it is animated. Beucase windows dont have animated background and for sure not backgrounds that react to the cursor so it will be hard but I am trying to figure it out.

What I am working on now is the actually functional part of the site. It doesn’t look pretty and it has many bugs, but I guess sometimes it works. There are still many things I am fixing. This is getting very complicated, but trust the process. Here is a short video; it probably won’t work yet though.

I worked on this project a lot I have perfected the system or the way the websites function works so basically now when you upload a 2D image it makes it look really 3D it has shadows and I perfected all the distance anad speeds and which everything moves depending on the system so the next devlog will be about me finishing the websites actual function UI and all that.

What I worked on right now is just the front page of the website, and I also gave an example of how it is supposed to work on the front page (the Spider-Man image). So basically, when you move your cursor on that image/wallpaper, it will move the background and move the front image at different speeds, and with the addition of shadows, it looks very sick. I know you would think 7 hours is a lot, but trust me, figuring out all the right amounts of everything took more than it should have because I am a beginner at coding. And also, I started on the actual function page.

What I have been doing for the past 1 hour and 30 minutes is I chose a good macbook file that I can animate well into a apple like commericial next I thought about ideas and made the first scene where two laptops come out behind the one in the front which fits well as the introduction for the commercial. Trust the process :)

This time I actually finished! This is probably gonna be the last devlog. The problem with my first shi[ was that my blender animation had to have code in some way, so I just made a very very simple website just to display my blender animation and also to give a short and concise summary of what I made I think I did pretty good. The website also has this 3d model that you can move around, credit to Steven Yap again because this model was made by him that I got from BlendKit. The demo link is given below hope you guys like it!

What I did for the 2 hours was I finished the entire first render (the video is below). But I am also trying to brainstorm other scene ideas because I dont think this is enough. The last scene in the video took so long because the angle was really complicated and hard to capture and the closing lid scene was also very very hard because the lid of the laptop wasn’t moving on the hinge so I had to manually add a line of rotation which took a lot of time. And also I added some music from an official apple add credit to them. Hope you like this video! :)

What I made was Macbook animation by using the 3D modeling software blender. What was pretty challenges was basically everything because I have never animated in blender in my life before, so everything was new and I tried to understand how to do everything. And I am proud of that I completed my goal of making an apple worthy commericial using their styles but with my creativity. Just use the Demo URL to watch and access my video!

I finished!!!

I made all the transition smooth when it was a little crusty I just added a mix transition using the I am using editor (capcut). It took a lot of time to also add the gradients and make it work with the animation because you had to use duplicates and also in general making the text move using key frames was a first for me. But I think it turned out pretty good I am finalizing the gist of what I made before I ship it. Thank you guys for watching it!

I have finished the entire commercial it looks pretty good but I am making a better version to make the transititons way smoother it will take me a lot of time but I can do it. What I added now is the domino effect of the laptop and all the text which I added on an editing software. Hope you like version one of the final commericial. Stay tuned for the version two (which will be way better trust)!

I have made another scene through scene that I will connect to final animation through some editing software to add transitions so I can bring it all together (this is just in unfinished cut version not I did not add transitions yet). I think it is looking pretty good for being my first time ever animating in blender. Hope you all like it!

I have been working on the second scene for my recreation of an apple commericial. This zoom in scene took way to long to perfect but in my opinion it looks pretty good. And I also worked on the transition between the first and the second scene. I am still brainstorming the next scene but stay tuned for the final result!
