This week I had been working on finding the most cheapest and fitting parts that is suitable for my FPV drone. In context FPV stands for first-person view, and yes I planned to hopefully make my own headset and remote control for this drone.
Sourcing parts
I’ve faced a ton of problems while im searching for modules, ICs and microcontroller. So far, for this entire project Im trying to budget around 300 USD. And of course, we’re talking about FPV drones, that’s why it’s this expensive. But if we’re comparing it to commercialised FPV drone likke DJI’s ones, it oftens goes up to around 1000USD. I guess the biggest turnaround for this homemade FPV drone is camera quality.
The only reason I pick analog camera over digital camera is because they’re cheap. However, picking analog camera doesn’t means that you only can stick to analog cameras, you can also eventually switch over to digital camera if you really mind about camera performances.
