updated the web app to include a few new things from bluesky’s app upstream! also moved around a few settings to make them easier to find, added a toggle to only show people’s handles in place of display names, and made changing app server & other infrastructure settings easier (with dropdowns and speedier access). I have more plans (like mobile apps) but i think this is shippable now!
I added a toggle to only show handles, a thread reader mode from another bsky fork, a new sign-up/better login flow, vastly improved the repost carousels, fixed numerous bugs, and added a secret 67-related feature! 👀

I’ve done a TON (ong I don’t think I’ll be able to remember it all; it’s been a while)! I fixed a huge number of small things and kept it up-to-date (working through merge conflicts might be a majority of the time spent working on all this… I need to find out how to be more efficient). Also made some strides in updating all the settings and making chat access more powerful here than upstream (you can access chats with deactivated accounts! but still need to make it clear that they cannot be messaged).
Also made the long-press/right-click on post interaction buttons respect reply-gates (so if your reply wouldn’t show up, it won’t let you make a post replying).
