basically, i did the case and then, discovered issues with the pcb 3d model, and then, redid the 3d model, and did it all over again, discovered the rotary encoder in my schematics and pcb has no click, so i went back and replaced that, also the 3d model for the encoder was also wrong, so i went back and downloaded that, also turns out i didnt quite understand how a cherry mx switch works, so i did the top and went back and redid when a friend kindly explained it to me, fusion 360 is an absolute pain tho, oh and my gpu died at the end, so thats fun, over all im pretty happy with it and i hope my dimensions are correct
i took a break for a bit to learn some fusion, made some prototypes and i think this would maybe be the final product, theres still the top plate and many more things to work on here, i know this isnt really progress and i hope i can finish this case soon so i can get to the firmware and submit this thing
lookout keeps crashing out on me so i finished the pcb without, looks much cleaner now, and the port is facing the right way now obviously, so far , drc isnt freaking out with 40 warnings this time, just 19 which is still a lot but not 40 a lot, anyways heres a screenie of my awesome pcb
schematics done, made the pcb and did all the traces but the microcontroller orientation was wrong and had 40 errors, but it was a first try so im not that mad abt it
