During this time I did:

  • Updated the readme …some of you were confused about what MAX and TOTAL meant.
  • Cooldown on the button, to prevent excessive spam
  • Now you can simply click anywhere to count!

Okay… now, as some of you requested, I’ve also added an audio track that plays whenever you click the button (which is a sound from my actual keyboard, hehe). And I’ve also added a reset counter.

My project is inspired by a Steam game called "THE BUTTON by Elendow," simple as that game, just click a button and you earn points! But... the more points you have, the riskier each click becomes! The idea is simply to push your limits while playing! Good luck!!

For now, I’m finished!

Here’s a list of what I’ve done in this time:

  • README, with a banner, a link to my project, and information about the design (check it out!)

  • Counters! One counter shows the maximum number you can get, and another shows the total!

  • Logic working! Every time you click the button, your chances of losing increase according to the points!

Well… I’m making a website that’s somewhat similar to a game I found on Steam (you can spend hours playing it), called “THE BUTTON by Elendow”.

I’m trying to make it as similar as possible, and in this time I’ve worked on the HTML (the base) and a bit on the CSS!

I created a browser tab featuring a search bar, jokes, and a clock! I’m happy with the final project, it works well, and the design I chose fits in with the rest of the site. Plus, for the jokes, I used a real API called JokeAPI specifically this link: `https://v2.jokeapi.dev/joke/Any?blacklistFlags=nsfw,religious,political,racist,sexist,explicit&type=single` to filter out any inappropriate jokes.

During this time, I did the following:

  • I created a functional search bar (it redirects to Google with text you insert in it)
  • The search button
  • CSS animations to the search bar and the button
  • A wallpaper (one I made in blender some months ago)

That’s it for now!

In this other instance, here is what I ended up doing:

  • CSS animation to my name
  • change Body Background
  • added About Me section

Now, I’m going to make the projects sections!

While building my blog, I learned how to create dynamic pages using URL parameters, something I’d always wondered how to do, and this time I managed it! I know there isn't much content yet, and I plan to add more in the future, but for me, this was an excellent way to practice reading URL parameters and generating dynamic pages based on them!

I also wrote a small JavaScript snippet that asks for the user’s name and automatically displays it on the page. Plus, I tried adding an image in the top corner to make it a bit more unique!

I’m working on a website that generates a certificate for whatever I want—currently, the concept is a bit vague. I’ve already done the HTML and am still working on the CSS, I’m trying to use a Neo-Brutalist style. Also, later on, I’m going to try to add a button to download the certificate!
