I followed the Hacker Card Jam here: https://jams.hackclub.com/jam/hacker-card. I created the schematic and placed my components down connecting the capacitor between VOUT and GND (VSS pin), the antenna between LA and LB, VCC to VOUT and the LED and resistor between VOUT and GND (VSS pin). I then laid out the components on my board. I decided to keep all the components on the right hand side, to make routing easier. I placed the LED, capacitor and resistor furthest right, then the antenna slightly left of them. I then began on the actual design of the card. I started by placing the text “Hack Club Membership” at the top of the card before placing my name just below. I then decided to place some text in the empty space in the middle of the antenna instructing users to tap their phones to access and save my contact information. I also included a qr. code to my GitHub and a punch card program for an imaginary computer called TUTAC. On the. reverse I went for a simple hack club logo, which fits in with the theme well. I also opted for a red PCB because red and white is the Hack Club theme.
