I am working on this thing now, it is a fun project, nothing useful, but it doesn’t always need to be. right now I have made most of the UI and some backend, and I have deffenitly underestimated how long this project will take.

N-Back Attack is a game Inspired by N-Back but in a space invaders theme. This version transforms the experience into an exciting, fast-paced challenge.

How to Play

N-Back is a memory game where you have to remember what happened a few rounds ago.

In this game, Space Invaders appear in different positions, Colors, and Shapes. Your goal is to determine whether the current position, color or shape matches the one from N rounds ago.

For example, in 2-Back:

  1. An alien appears on the left.
  2. An alien appears in the middle.
  3. An alien appears on the left again.

The third alien matches the position from 2 rounds ago, so you should press the match key.

The N

The N determines how far back you need to remember.

  • 1-Back -> Compare with the previous round
  • 2-Back -> Compare with 2 rounds ago
  • 3-Back -> Compare with 3 rounds ago
  • And so on…

As N gets higher, the game becomes harder because you need to remember more positions.

Goal

Try to get as many correct matches as possible while avoiding incorrect answers. The higher your N-Back level, the more challenging it becomes.

So I thought I would be almost done but after some considerations, I decided to apart from being to selfhost this, to also make this an actual website, which is why I now need to implement a lot of extra stuff like accounts and extra security measures. so It will still take a while.

This time I tried a more complicated project, so I have been coding a lot of javascript which isn’t that fun but I am learning so that is good, For this project I also used AI for the UI wich is why it doesn’t look that good but I am not in the mood to make UI right now and the UI is pretty simple.

A simple typing speed tester I made to improve my typing speed. It gives you random words to type and tracks your WPM, accuracy, raw WPM, and characters typed.

It keeps track of:

  • words per minute
  • accuracy
  • raw words per minute
  • amount of characters typed

you can also choose how long you want to type for.

I wanted to be able to type faster, and since I’m a programmer, I always want to make things myself. So I made a typing tester! It was pretty fun to make and test. My typing right now is kind of low-average (38 WPM), but I’ll keep practicing and see how much I can improve.

RetroWare is a version of WarioWare with minigames themed around old retro games and classics, such as Mario and Space Invaders. You have 5 lives and a set of minigames to complete within a certain amount of time. The main struggle I had with this project was that it was my first time using Godot instead of Unity (although Unity was hard too). In the end, everything worked out. I learned a lot from this project, and it was pretty fun to make, so I’m not planning on stopping here!

Done with the game! Now I just need to write the README and finish the itch.io page. This is my first time trying Godot after having used Unity for some time, and I have to say, it’s actually pretty fun and easy to use. Although I will say that, in the editor itself, I find Unity easier to use than Godot. But the scripting language in Godot is definitely easier to work with than C#.

I have worked on this for some time now, not done yet. It is the first time working with Godot. I did do some unity in the past but I don’t have much memory from that. It is fun tho.

The OCR I now fully done apart from a little but where the time just always shows 2h no matter when it was done. I also already did some of the parts for audio-to-text but That isn’t finished yet. I think after the AI stuff I only have to fix some minor bugs, write the README, and write my ship message and then i’ll be done.

The project is starting to take shape! I’m still working on the AI stuff and some of the other rough edges.
I’ve added timers, stopwatches, To-Dos, a Pomodoro timer, bookmarks, and different themes and profiles.
What I’m going to add next are the AI tools. It won’t be a chatbot, but rather audio-to-text and picture-to-text (OCR) tools, so you can then feed the output into a chatbot. I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel.

Disrupting the industry with our patented, decentralized, machine-learning-enhanced, edge-computing JSON blockchain solution.
Obscure Exchange is a simple exchange rate calculator for unusual digital currencies and units. It has currencies like Stardust from StarDance, which I had to do some calculations for because I wanted to find its precise worth. It also has some other stuff that I threw in, so now you can convert boring currencies into your favorites, like Big Macs or even DDR4 RAM.

I finished the database and the README. I had to do some calculations, like determining the worth of Stardust with a lot of data points, and I threw in some other stuff too. This is definitely something that, when I am bored, I will just add stuff to since it was pretty fun to research all the stuff.

I made this website that shows exchange rates for special, weird, and digital currencies instead of standard currencies. Right now, I’ve mainly focused on building the website itself. I made it so all the currency data is loaded from a JSON file, so adding or changing currencies will be easy. The only thing left to do is create the actual data file.

I’ve been coding a lot lately, but most of it has been backend work rather than frontend, so I don’t have much to show. Then I saw that apparently, if you code for more than 10 hours without a devlog, it doesn’t count toward your total time. So I guess here are some pictures of my code.
