DesiCinema OS is a simple web application inspired by a desktop operating system, designed to help users explore popular Indian comedy movies in a fun and interactive way. Instead of displaying a traditional movie list, the project uses draggable windows and a desktop-like interface to make browsing films more engaging.

The application includes a random movie picker, genre-based filtering, and a celebrity recommendation section that suggests movies associated with selected actors. It also features a live clock and a clean interface built entirely with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.

This project was created to practice front-end development concepts such as DOM manipulation, event handling, responsive layouts, and interactive UI design while experimenting with a different approach to presenting movie recommendations. It demonstrates how a simple dataset can be turned into an enjoyable user experience using core web technologies.

I have updated my code . Worked on the CSS , Java part . I have also added a new features of getting suggestion by selecting your favourite celebs . It will suggest you one of the best movies of those actors .

I have now added a currency converter to my calculator to give the calculator a bit of my touch . It also tells the current rate of each currency as compared to Indian rupees . I have reworked the css , java part of the code . I have also added a few colours to the calculator so that it doesnt looks dull and colourless .

Now I am working on resume analyser . This will take me a lot of time to create . Three and half hours were only taken for the basic interface and research of the code . It will analyse your resumes for internships , jobs after you provide your aimed university or company . It is not humanly possible to cover all companies possible so if your aimed company is not included use to normal feature . The normal feature will cover aspects like resume interface , drawbacks , possible improvements based on what you are applying for . The project needs a lot of backend work because putting all the research in the analyser will take time

First of all, this project is not only for you and your girlfriend, but also you and your bros . If you don't have a girlfriend, you feel me.

Now let's talk about work, I have made this calculator based on the theory that people with same taste, personality and interest tend to have good time together. Through this project, you can analyze with whom do you suit the best, because this includes songs, real-life experiences and food. Aspects like date of birth and difference between the ages of the people also matters in this calculator because this defines the gap of generations that can create problems in the relationship.

I hope you like my work and use it with your bros (or girlfriend, if you have one 😜)
