after printing i have adjusted dimensions for better printing
made it print ready
Made a print for the stabalizer
Cherry pitter designed and ready to print
Added a mounting ring to the Stabilizer
More work on the stabilizer. specifically i made the mountings better and standardized the bearings as well as added the accelerometer mount
more sub project work while i work o getting the housing printed. the assembly for the stabilizer is done (doesn’t need Yaw Axis) all i need is the mount and a way to perch it on the air brake
This work was on a stabilizer for the accelerometer. It would carry it on a tray with a weight below it so that gravity pulled it into the same orientation despite rotation of the larger vehicle. This is to be achieved through 3d printed bearings which would allow the system to move with little enough friction to ignore the small amounts of roll force (unless there is a catastrophic tumbling.
This session i worked on adding mounts for the air brake for sensors and the servo, likely the last i will work on the Onshape model until i get it printed. In addition to that i began making some code for the air brake starting by making the function to do the RK4(Runge-Kutta 4th order) predictions for apogee.
I designed thew airbrake main body and set up the physical relations all that’s left is to get physical parts to place in the body design wise.
