So i basically made a test code to test the yt-dlp library’s functionality and it works !!
so i made a code that inputs the users song title searches it up on yt and finds the url and uses yt-dlp to download the song as mp3 as of now i intend to make it mp4 later on and im also going to add a function that saves the mp4 file as the name of the song and in the next few commits ill be making this thing like functional for ease of access much like spotify and im thinking of adding liquid glass effects to everything and if it all goes well i might even try to make this a application(it was supp to be a web thing so ….)
i also basicaly renamed my previous main.py to cli-v1.py so its gonna be the cli version 1 of fader and i made a new file named app.py which runs most of the guia im planning on using pygame and customtnker for this , i fixed the m4a part it downloads in m4a now not in mp3 (better quality+video!!!) , i also am working on the library part and im adding smart shuffle , smart suggestions , etc… I also made a new file for the main logic calls whenever a new song is to be added to the library all the logic for fetching the .m4a file lies in this file called yt_download.py i am half done with the code for this file i also fixed up some minor bugs in cli-v1.py… I also made a setup script for fader that automatically installs all the dependencies required for fader to run
