Originally, Slate was supposed to only be for blocking you from distracting apps, but I realized that it had so much more potential is could be used as an alarm clock so that you had to get out of bed and tap your phone on Slate to make the alarm clock stop ringing. I also made it so that anyone, not just people who have a 3d printer, could make it. Before, I had made it so that you would add a pause in your slicer so that you could add the NFC chip and the magnets on the inside but now i made it so that you just need some super glue and use a 3d printing service so print it like me because I don’t have a 3d printer anyways i changed the color and i probaly wont code the app beacuase i dont have the apple dev program but you can just use the Foqus app to block apps maybe i will code it for a future project.

You scan SLATE’s NFC chip on your phone, and it will block your distracting apps and help you lock in. There will also be an app along with the physical device to control what it blocks and how much time you have saved. This is the case for the NFC chip, and it will be magnetized so that you can stick it anywhere. If you have any feedback or questions, please ask and follow the project.

Just finished the Macropad case

just finished routing the PCB and damn it is hard it took me 3 hours to do it and im not gonna lie the instructions are really confusing but i got it done right i think at least.

I just started working on my Macropad called nexapad ik it’s kinda corny. I just finished the schematic and the footprints. follow along for the journey!
