I built a personal website using HTML and CSS. This was my first time learning front-end delopment and although I was a bit tricker to get a feel for the syntax at first, it was not as daunting as I initally expected! Overall, I am fairly satistfied with what I was able to put together and I hope to learn the JS aspect of web development in the future :)

I’ve written the raw HTML for my personal site. This is my first website but I was surprised by the simplicity of the basics. I will next start to write the CSS and maybe add some images and improve the layout!

@AlexGu on WarioWare Game

I built a WarioWare style game inspired by two of my favorite things: PCs and Dinosaurs!

This was my first time using Godot and I'm very pleased with what I was able to put together in such little time. One of the things I didn't realize is that bugs are much harder to trace in game development than in standard programming and I often had to take weird workarounds to get things to function normally.

In the future, I would like to continue to learn more about Godot: maybe even add more minigames in the future and also try to explore the 3D aspect of the engine :)

Settings are complete!

I also went in an added so more animations and put in background music too. All that’s left is to playtest and ensure there’s no bugs before I ship!!

I have finished the 3rd minigame: pong

I had an issue where the animations weren’t playing so I ended up hardcoding idle animations into the scripts for the sprite which worked well!

All thats left is to add in the win and lose screens and build a function settings and it should be good to ship :)

I’ve built the first minigame: a simple platformer!!

I should add some walls so you cant run of screen but the platformer is done and I can now move on to the clicker game
