i made a astro bot that gives ou mostl facts about the univers and physics
it works 24/7
all commands:
/minimalastro-ping - Check bot latency
/minimalastro-fact - Random physics or astronomy fact
/minimalastro-apod - NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day
/minimalastro-pi [digits] - Pi to N decimal places (max 1000)
/minimalastro-planet [name] - Stats for a planet
/minimalastro-element [symbol] - Periodic table info
/minimalastro-help - ouputs all comands

i added 3 new commands[+_+]
there is /minimalastro-pi(then how many didgets you want)
/minimalastro-element (Element) gives you all information about the element
and /minimalastro-planet(planet only in solar system)
you get all information about the planet

first devblog on slackbot[+_+]
so i am making a astro bot that give you sientific info etc there are 4 comands righ now ping, apod, fact and help
i think all are realy selph explaining if not loog at the piture

I made a fuly functinal Apod whitch is very minimalistic and made in my style
it is black and white and if you hover over the picture you can see the description of it
you can like thinks download it and get yourselph a random date(another kind of date you are a nerd dont put up your hopes)

added buttons on footer[+_+]

so in this update i made buttons:
random:(opens a random date)
like:(likes a date and saves it)
showlikes:(showes all the likes yu have)
download:(you can download the png the description or both)
if you are wondering why i only needed 38 min most of the time while i coded it i had no wifi so it didnt get all the time

I built the basic framework [+_+]
First, I created the folder structure and set everything up with npm and Vite. Then I built a basic framework that fetches and renders the NASA image using HTML, CSS, and JS. For colors, I mainly used near-black (#0f0f0f) with white glows and 1-2px borders. I also got my API key working it stays local in a .env file and is kept off GitHub via .gitignore.

This WebOS was made to improve real life.
It's really comfortable and has cool colors, fonts, etc.
It has apps: calc, folders, code, terminal, snake, todo, and settings - all resizable and movable.
There are pets on your bar.
There are WMs (Window Managers), fully movable and resizable widgets (clock and todo), workspaces, and overviews (the overview depends on the WM).
There's a top bar with shutdown, a calendar, and the workspaces.
Popups remind you to drink.
New features for WebOS2, missions are:

the WMs
the movable and resizable widgets (including the clock widget)
desktop overview (2 different variants)
a RAM file system
new terminal commands
Snake game
popups (the drink one)

i added a desktop overview and a snake game[+_+]

i added a desktop overview diferent depending on your wm in hyprland and desktop you have the basic windows 11 overview i think or macos idk
and if you chose niri you have the niri desktop overview wich expandes in 2 dimensions and there is a super dupper cool snake game which absulutly works totaly fine. idk know why but my ram file system broke like 1000 times so i fixed that to

I added window tiling Managers[+_+]
so now there are window tiling manager there is the default (but that is boring)and there is hyprland and niri i dont want to describe them so just watch the video or google it

NEW WIDGET AND A FILE SYSTEM[+_+]

i added a clock widget with also a liquid glass lok and a supper cool file system that work just like on a normal pc but only on ram you can also resize the widget

last devlog on this project

Okay, this is my last devlog for my personal website. Well, it was a lot of fun, but enough about that. What did I actually do?

I added a “Projects” tab where you can view the code of all my public projects.

I added a “Contact” window where you can write to me and directly access my TikTok, YouTube, and GitHub.

I also redesigned the footer, which was a lot of fun. It looks much more minimalist now.

Unfortunately, Hack a Time didn’t track all my time, so instead of 4 hours, it only shows 1 hour. I’ve added some cool things. There’s a section called “Programming” where you can see my favorite languages, my main editor, and the code for my project. In the tab, I’ll use the code file since it’s directly linked to GitHub. I’ve also added a music section where you can listen to my favorite songs. Everything’s fine copyright-wise since I’m using Spotify for that. There’s also a games section now, where my favorite games are, and a small Hollow Knight 3D model. I hope you like my changes.

i started with the side btn but that was lame so i added a hover animation there was a bug that the main text swushed to the side if you hovert over the button i thougt it was pretty cool and added it as a feture and fixed the bug i will add that diferent html files will be displayed on the right depending on the site you are curently on

Get a life WebOS:
It's a web OS which runs smooth and clean its made to make your life a better one (but that's contradictory, because you're a loser(Programmer))
but there is a widget which helps you to do your daily to do's there is a calc(calc is slang for calculator btw), a calendar, terminal and a settings app.
You can click on the icons on the Taskbar to open the applications.
On the top bar there is a clock and the date if you click on them a calendar pops up which is not draggable same if you press on the power button there is a pop up which allows you to lock, reboot and shutdown the OS
On the bar there are animals but don't put more than 4 on it or something terrible is going to happen. There is an Akita, a Panda and a Fox which only move on the taskbar which follows your cursor.
On the top right you can find numbers. They indicate the workspace you're currently on and if you press on a other number which is not marked, you switch to the workspace.
