I worked on my Hackpad case. I ran into a lot of problems, mainly because I wasn’t used to the software I was using. Hopefully I can finish the tutorial sometime this week and start working on my own additions.

I started working on making the case for my Hackpad. I haven’t added any additions so far, but I will be doing that soon once I understand how everything works. So far, it hasn’t completely gone according to plan, but the vision is there.
I have started building my super cool Hackpad! With this I’m hoping to be introduced into electronics and hardware. I can’t wait to learn about making schematics, PCB’s, and 3D modeling!
After a long break, I finally sat down and taught myself how to use a 3D printing software. I used Tinkercad to make 3 possible cases for the robot. One of them is a simpler one which I’m probably going to use first. I made the other two cases able to screw together, though I’m not sure I made them properly. Hopefully these work out and I’m able to get on with the next step of my building process.
After 2 hours of painstakingly long coding and debugging, I have finally finished My First Slack Bot. I named it Confusion because I was so confused while working on it. I might add a few more slash commands later, but for now I am done with it!
I am almost done with My first slack bot! I’ve added several slash commands that should do a multitude of things. I have started to figure out how to work in VS code and I’m understanding how a lot of things work to a better degree. I hope to be explore more slash commands and be finished with this project tomorrow.
I’m currently making a sphere robot that is basically a BB8 droid and have just finished the prototype. I got the parts for the inner motors from a robot making kit I got a while back. For the head, I made my own ball bearings so that it rolls smoothly over the outer shell of the ball. It is attached by magnets to the inner workings that stay up right the entire time. My next step is learning how to use a 3d printing software and making everything run more smoothly.
