Currently at this stage; PyTorch BSE model using logits to predict which team won a game based on example circumstances. Below is a screenshot of the training process; left is “epochs”, or how many times its trained, and right is “loss”, which is essentially (100-accuracy).

My hackpad is complete!

After around ~12 hours of total work, my hackpad is finished. It features 9 total keys to be able to set to whatever macro my heart desires, as well as a knob that I plan to use for either brightness or RGB switching, and an OLED screen that is unfortunately upside down!

For the color, while I can’t find a picture to show at the moment, it will be white on top with a black body, finished in “metal flake” style hopefully! I really liked working on this project as a whole and I can say that its both rewarding and a lot of fun.

After about three hours and two PCB rewirings, I now have to rewire again to fix my usb 🥀🥀. Anyways, disregarding that pain, got started on some CAD stuff today too.

This was my first ever experience with KiCAD, and honestly it taught me a lot about how PCBs work and are made. I’m taking my time intentionally in order to be able to replicate the process in the future, not just one-off a hardware project like this, and hopefully I can make my own hardware for other stuff before september.

Current progress:
PCB schematic almost complete
CAD for the macropad is almost complete

Action items:
Need to rewire the PCB so the USB is facing outwards
Need to import parts library into the CAD
