Just done with the cheeks, also fully done with the chin/jaw area but there was an issue with the Lapse app
finished the chin area, still continuing the lower part of the face
Just finished the jaw, prob I’ll continue w the cheeks or the upper chin area
not much but still working on the jaw area
After finishing the face plate, started to work on the jaw/chin area of the helmet. its a small of a progress but consistency matters more
Cleaned and finished the face plate after just an hour after getting hang of the modeling technique
nothing new just countiuing the outline of the faceplate using splines and surface modeling
Update!! I’ve been try to fix and transform the STL models to solid for more than 1 and 1/2 hours . then I tried to model the helmet from scratch, which eventually is the better option for future upgrades, THE PROBLEM is time, modeling the whole helmet from zero is very time consuming. SO I need your help should I work with the STL’s OR model the helmet myself
starting this project I made to things, printed a sizing tool to measure the helmet on my head. then I started with turn the stl files into solids, so I could tweak and add features to them
Finished the initial design of the base controller. The next step is to add the joystick, buttons, and triggers, then I’ll start with the mechanics and internal design. - - Also I want to name the controller, looking for suggestions :)
Started with the CAD model of the controller, I choose the xbox design as its mostly used by pro controllers also it will provide more space for the eletronics. and for the layout it will be symetric like the playstion controllers as I’ve been accustomed to the layout
