i finally got the camera to take a picture (i think) but i have not been able to get the image saved so that is the next step, but i got the code to run without an error and with that, i now have to figure out how to save an image and then make the python scripts for the lcd and the camera into classes and import them into main.py. after that i have to learn docker and make a cotainer to make the images ready for processing
for not that long of time, i have been trying to figure how i would get this lcd module from waveshare to work. and after way to much research that was not recorded because i was too lazy to start lapse, i gave into the ai hype, i had gemini try to help get this module to work and to my surprise, it did that and more; with it i got the lcd to work, and gemini did the heavy lifting with all the byte codes which i would have never guessed did that. for the most part i am very greatful towards gemini in the sense that it saved an entire aspect of my project and a big part of my mental state. this is the result of the demo code gemini gave my and next i am trying to get the camera to take images and then displaying them on the screen; with that, i have my next hurddle
